FS/2023/03 Care Worker (Children’s Services) Full-time and Part Time Casual (Shift Basis)

ROLE PROFILE:

FS/2023/05 Care Worker - Il-Milja (Family Services) Part-Time Casual (Shift Basis)

ROLE PROFILE:

The Care Worker (CW) forms part of the team of il-Milja, a shelter for victims of Violence Against Women (VAW) and their children. The team in liaison with the Home Manager, Care Workers, Social Support Workers, and Social Worker, to support and assist women and their children in their process of trauma recovery whilst empowering them to strength their self-esteem and dignity. The Care Worker, shall have overall accountability to the Home Manager, but is also accountable to the Social Worker r on tasks assigned to them as part of the care plan of residents.

FS/2023/02 Residential Support Mentor (Children's Services) Full Time (Closing Date: 26th July 2024)

ROLE PROFILE:

The  Residential Support Mentor (RSM) is part of the resident’s care team within a residential home for children and youths which aims at implementing the Care Plan set by the professionals together with the resident. The RSM shall have a shared, allocated case load. The RSM shall work in liaison with the professionals involved within as well as outside the residence in order to support and assist children and youths to live in a homely environment whilst empowering and supporting them to recover from trauma and live a healthy and fulfilled life. It is the role of every member of staff to deliver a high quality of care, adhere to policies and procedures, work ethically, and foster the values of the home.

FS/2024/05 Administrator - Children's Homes - Full-Time (Closing Date: 24th July 2024)

ROLE PROFILE:

The Administrator forms part of a team of workers of the Children’s Homes of Fondazzjoni Sebħ. S/he is required to work hand in hand with the Home Managers of the Residential Homes they will be assisting. The selected candidate will work under the guidance and supervision of the Home Manager and will be assigned various responsibilities related to the day-to-day running of the Residential Homes.

FS/2024/11 Social Worker - Community Prevention Team - Full-Time (Closing Date: 26th July 2024)

ROLE PROFILE:

The appointee is responsible to offer evidence-based social work support services to children and families. The role requires the designated individual to build partnerships with existing services in order to complement service provision. The primary aim is to focus on prevention by promoting positive and safe relationships within the family which amongst other issues include safeguarding the wellbeing of children, vulnerable individuals and families.
