FS/2023/01 Residential Social Worker (Children’s Services) Part-Time

ROLE PROFILE:

 

The Residential Social Worker is to ensure that all children in our care are being cared for and protected while living in residential care by implementing the child’s permanency care plan. The Residential Social Worker needs to use a child-focused approach and must endeavour to promote the child’s best interest at all times.

The Residential Social Worker reports to and receives supervision from the the Children’s Services Senior Manager.

FS/2023/02 Residential Support Mentor (Children's Services) Full -Time

ROLE PROFILE:

 

The RSM is part of the resident’s care team within a residential home for children and youth which aims at implementing the Care Plan set by the professionals together with the resident. The RSM shall have a shared, allocated case load. The RSM shall work in liaison with the professionals involved within as well as outside the residence in order to support and assist children and youth to live in a homely environment whilst empowering and supporting them to recover from trauma and live a healthy and fulfilled life. It is the role of every member of staff to deliver a high quality of care, adhere to policies and procedures, work ethically, and foster the values of the home.

FS/2023/05 Care Worker - Il-Milja (Family Services) Part-Time Casual (Shift Bases)

ROLE PROFILE:

The Care Worker (CW) forms part of the team of il-Milja, a shelter for victims of Violence Against Women (VAW) and their children. The team in liaison with the Home Manager, Care Workers, Social Support Workers, and Social Worker, to support and assist women and their children in their process of trauma recovery whilst empowering them to strength their self-esteem and dignity. The Care Worker, shall have overall accountability to the Home Manager, but is also accountable to the Social Worker r on tasks assigned to them as part of the care plan of residents.

FS/2023/07 Residential Support Assistant - Il-Milja (Family Services) Full – Time

ROLE PROFILE:

The RSA is part of the residence’s and aftercare care team which aims at delivering a therapeutic programme for survivors of Violence Against Women (VAW) and/or their children. The RSA will have a primary role in supporting the professional care team in the implementation of care plans for women and children. They shall have a shared, allocated case load and carry out individual or group sessions as required. The RSA shall work in liaison with the professionals involved within as well as outside the residence in order to support and assist women and their children to live in a homely environment whilst empowering and supporting them to recover from trauma and live a healthy and fulfilled life free from violence and abuse.
