FS/2023/05 Care Worker - Il-Milja (Family Services) Part-Time Casual (Shift Basis)
ROLE PROFILE:
The Care Worker (CW) forms part of the team of il-Milja, a shelter for victims of Violence Against Women (VAW) and their children. The team in liaison with the Home Manager, Care Workers, Social Support Workers, and Social Worker, to support and assist women and their children in their process of trauma recovery whilst empowering them to strength their self-esteem and dignity. The Care Worker, shall have overall accountability to the Home Manager, but is also accountable to the Social Worker r on tasks assigned to them as part of the care plan of residents.
FS/2023/02 Residential Support Mentor (Children's Services) Full Time (Closing Date: 22nd November 2024)
ROLE PROFILE:
The Residential Support Mentor (RSM) is part of the resident’s care team within a residential home for children and youths which aims at implementing the Care Plan set by the professionals together with the resident. The RSM shall have a shared, allocated case load. The RSM shall work in liaison with the professionals involved within as well as outside the residence in order to support and assist children and youths to live in a homely environment whilst empowering and supporting them to recover from trauma and live a healthy and fulfilled life. It is the role of every member of staff to deliver a high quality of care, adhere to policies and procedures, work ethically, and foster the values of the home.
FS/2024/11 Social Worker (Community Family Services) Full Time (Closing Date: 22nd November 2024)
ROLE PROFILE:
The appointee is responsible to offer evidence-based social work support services to children and families. The role requires the designated individual to build partnerships with existing services in order to complement service provision. The primary aim is to focus on prevention by promoting positive and safe relationships within the family which amongst other issues include safeguarding the wellbeing of children, vulnerable individuals and families.
FS/2024/15 Social Worker (Il-Milja) Full Time (Closing Date: 22nd November 2024)
ROLE PROFILE:
The social worker forms part of a team of professionals working within il-Milja, a second stage shelter accommodating females who experienced Violence against Women (VAW) and their children, if any involved. The services of the second stage shelter aims at supporting survivors of VAW and their children in the journey of recovery from abuse.
The social worker in collaboration with the rest of the team is responsible for the formulation and implementation of a therapeutic care plan which incorporates major areas which amongst other include physical and mental wellbeing, education and employment, housing and consolidation of support network for each resident and her children.

FS/2024/05 Administrator Part Time 20hrs/wk Dar Sagra Familja (Zabbar) (Closing Date: 22nd November 2024)
ROLE PROFILE:
The Administrator forms part of a team of workers of the Children’s Homes of Fondazzjoni Sebħ. S/he is required to work hand in hand with the Home Managers of the Residential Homes they will be assisting. The selected candidate will work under the guidance and supervision of the Home Manager and will be assigned various responsibilities related to the day-to-day running of the Residential Homes.
FS/2024/04 Administrator - Full Time (Closing Date: 22nd November 2024)
ROLE PROFILE:
The Administrator is responsible to seek opportunities and initiatives that result in monetary and/or in kind donations, as well as obtain sponsorships for events and projects. The administrator is also responsible to oversee that the administrative tasks related to incoming donations in cash and in kind is up to date, accurate and professionally kept.
FS/2024/17 Residential Support Assistant - il-Milja (Family Services) Full Time (Closing Date: 15th November 2024)
ROLE PROFILE:
The Residential Support Assistant (RSA) is part of the residence’s and aftercare care team which aims at delivering a therapeutic programme for survivors of Violence Against Women (VAW) and/or their children. The RSA will have a primary role in supporting the professional care team in the implementation of care plans for women and children. They shall have a shared, allocated case load and carry out individual or group sessions as required. The RSA shall work in liaison with the professionals involved within as well as outside the residence in order to support and assist women and their children to live in a homely environment whilst empowering and supporting them to recover from trauma and live a healthy and fulfilled life free from violence and abuse.
