PG Group Dividend Strengthens Care for Children in Fondazzjoni Sebħ Home
Fondazzjoni Sebħ continues to benefit from a generous donation of 500,000 shares made by Mr Paul Gauci, founder of PG Group in 2020, a yearly generous dividend which enables the foundation to provide sustainable services to children, women and families.
In 2025 alone Fondazzjoni Sebħ benefitted from a total amount of €33,564.52 net dividend. This has enabled Fondazzjoni Sebħ to enhance the quality of care provided to children and young people living in any one of its residences, many of whom have experienced some trauma during their childhood.
While all children require support in their physical, educational, medical, and emotional development, those in care often face additional challenges due to past trauma. Such traumatic experiences can significantly impact a child’s cognitive, social, and emotional wellbeing, making specialised, trauma-informed care essential.
Ms Yvonne Mallia, Director of Fondazzjoni Sebħ stated that: “Thanks to this financial support from PG group, the organisation has strengthened its team of professionals dedicated to creating a safe, nurturing, and home-like environment. Their work focuses on building secure relationships with children, helping them develop emotional regulation, daily living skills, and positive attachments, while also supporting their educational and developmental needs. They also organise activities, from cooking to social outings, that help children build confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging”.
Mr Malcolm Camilleri, CEO of PG Group, commented: “We firmly believe that every child deserves safety, dignity, and opportunities to grow. It is a privilege for PG Group to contribute towards the essential work Fondazzjoni Sebħ carries out in supporting vulnerable children and families, and we remain committed to helping them create lasting positive impact.”
Fondazzjoni Sebħ is deeply grateful for this financial support, which helps ensure the sustainability of our services. It is making a meaningful difference by enabling children and women to receive not only essential support, but also the stability, safety, and opportunities they need to heal and thrive.
